broke before use 
It broke before we used it (was not broken when it arrived). I think that says enough.

Nice umbrella for the price
The first one arrived with a broken umbrella rib, but a replacement came within a few days. This wasn't bad because I kept the umbrella cloth for the broken one & now will have a replacement when the new cloth wears out.
The cloth is thin & the wood is very lightweight, but it has held up admirably through a couple days of rain & light wind.
We have a small deck & used this on a tall iron gazebo table. It looks quite chic, and I don't often make it to chic!

great inexpensive umbrella
great umbrella for the money. Only thing is be careful with a tight fit in your table, as water will cause it to swell and make it difficult to remove from the table. Overall very satisfied.
