A canning necessity! 
My wife has been making jelly and canning for years. She had always gotten the jars out of the hot water with regular kitchen utensils until I got her this set. What a difference. Much easier and I think safer. Well worth it and she loves them.

Everything for Jamming!
I made my first batch of jams, jellies and sauces this year. This set was a big help because it offered all the tools I needed to can up about 30 some jars of various products. It came with helpful tips and all the gadgets needed to make the first time canning succesful! I also got the Ball Book for canning everything and I am confident I can now attempt canning anything with this kit and the book!

good starter package for the new canner 
we decided we wanted to start canning and this kit was a cheap and simple way to purchase some of the essentails we'd need without spending too much.

Canning Accessories
This was a very good purchase. I used all the tools when canning and it made it much easier for me to can properly. I especially liked the magnet to assist with getting lids out of boiling water. That was very handy during the canning process.
