Editorial Review:
When cooking succulent meats, the standard barbeque often fails, drying up natural juices and flavor. To remedy this problem, Charbroil created its electronic rotisserie. The rotisserie fits every Charbroil and many other grills. Perfect for a small rump roast, Cornish game hen, or even a corncob, the rotisserie deliciously expands the boundaries of barbeque cuisine. The rotisserie rotates meat on a spit, allowing heat to circulate evenly. The rotating motion also allows the meat to self-baste in its own juices. With a standard electrical plug and detachable parts, the rotisserie benefits from easy installation and cleaning. A simple but attractive bamboo handle allows users to manually rotate contents. Charbroil offers a warranty for all parts. --Jessica Reuling

Universal fit? In what universe?
This rotisserie is labeled and boxed Charbroil. One would figure that it would be a good fit for a Charbroil BBQ. It is not. I had to tweak the brackets and drill two additional holes into the BBQ side firewall to make them fit right. If I used the pre-drilled holes, the lid would not close. And forget about opening the side burner lid. The bracket gets in the way. I had to pound the bracket flat in order to make clearance for the side burner lid to open. Now after some unnecessary adjustments,... more info

Works and mounts fine
Bought this at Home Depot for $60. Included brackets fit perfectly for my Uniflame Walmart grill. Did an eye of round roast on it and it came out excellent. Brackets are a little flimsy thats why I gave it 4 stars, but its a great product for the price especially through Amazon.

Works Great
I was reluctant to buy after reading earlier reviews about the motor dying first time out of the box. I've used it five or six times in the month since I bought it and there's been no problem at all. Also, the motor is surprisingly quiet .. a good thing. With the grill top shut, I've had to look over at the spit several times to make sure it was still turning. (Another important note .. this same rotisserie costs $89 at my local Home Depot .. more than double what I paid here.)

Usual bracket problems but box works nicely
Got the Charbroil rotisserie to match the Charbroil grill. Same problem we've had every time we've ever bought a rotisserie previously: The assortment of preconfigured brackets do not exactly match our grill. The ones the manual says to use do not allow the cover to close. The other ones are bent in at an angle. Charbroil had a service number which the manual listed as being available 24/7. Of course, when we called we found that they're on east coast time and had decided it would amuse them to cut their... more info
