just what I wanted
It was just what I wanted and needed. My other had rusted out. I found it quickly and it was shipped when they said it would ship.
Great Product
Had to replace the old one since it was worn out from extended use. Purchased this item as a replacement and thrilled with the results. Was told that item would be delivered in 6-8 weeks but received it in about a week after ordering. Would highly recommed this item.
$8 worth overnight delivery
The product itself is great. $16.99 is a bit pricey for an ash grate but the $8.00 S&H bought overnight delivery when I expected it to take 7 days. Had the grill back up and working before kickoff of the first college game. Hey, its better than having to buy a new grill! Too bad the original grate couldn't have lasted a year or two longer, though.
Not a good deal!
I bought a complete, brand new Aussie Walk About Charcoal Grill at a local retail store about 18 months ago for $49.99. Now the "Fire Grate and Ash Dump" portion of it is corroded to the point that it is no longer safe or effective. But to buy this replacement on line costs half the price of an entire brand new grill, since the shipping and handling charge for the "Fire Grate and Ash Dump" adds $8.00 to its already exorbitant $16.99 price. A part this flimsy ought to be much cheaper, since it must be... more info
